Thailand's PTTGC to shut No. 3 cracker for maintenance
According to market sources, PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is planning to shut its No.3 cracker for a scheduled turnaround in March 2017.
Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the cracker is able to produce 1 million tons/year of ethylene and 25,000 tons/year of propylene. The cracker is expected to remain off-stream for about 2 weeks.
