Major Thai lifted PE offers to China

A major maker from Thailand has announced new offers today to China with an increased of $25/t for HDPE film and yarn to reach $1170/ton and $1180/ton respectively, $55/ton for LLDPE film to reach $1270/ton, $20/ton for LDPE film and heavy duty to reach $1370/ton and $1390/ton respectively, as compared to last week, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term.

A trader commented, “Our supplier informed that the prices were increased following the recent firming trend but we are not confidence about the sales this week as our customers claimed that the offer level is too expensive, which are still about $10/ton higher than major Taiwanese cargoes.”
