Saudi major lifted homo-PP prices to Vietnam

According to market sources, a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced fresh homo-PP prices to Vietnam today with $30/ton hike from late November offering, reaching $1050/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term. Most buyers in the country are not showing high interest in such large increment claiming sufficient domestic supply.

A buyer said, “In addition to the increases in import duties, prices would be too high. We plan to bid at $1020/ton to replenish 100 tons. At the moment we are waiting for the supplier’s respond.”
