Another major Malaysia imposed price hike for PE in domestic market

Market players reported that another major maker in Malaysia has announced its new offers for December delivery with an increased of MYR320/ton ($72/ton) for HDPE, MYR520/ton ($117/ton) for LDPE, and MYR350/ton ($78/ton) for LLDPE as compared to their latest offers by 10 November 2016. Players attributed the large price hike toward the recent depreciation of currency.
