Another Saudi major announced December PP, PE offers to SEA

A major Saudi Arabia producer has announced new PP and PE offers to Southeast Asia for December shipment at mostly stable to higher levels compared to last month. Except LLDPE film prices have edged down $10/ton, HDPE film PP block copolymers are stable, both homo-PP and BOPP offers increased $20/ton from last month.

Latest price list stand at $1150/ton for HDPE film, $1210/ton for LLDPE film, $1050/ton for homo-PP, $1070/ton for BOPP and $1100/ton for PP block copolymer, all based on CIF Southeast Asia, LC AS term.

Source from the producer informed, “We have regular allocation this month, and the recent shutdown at our plant will affect January shipment. Demand in Southeast Asia is weaker, however we prefer to monitor respond from the market before deciding on our next move.”
