More Middle Eastern maker announced PP, PE prices to Vietnam

Another major Saudi Arabia producer has announced December delivery offers to Vietnam today with decreases for both PP and PE compared to last month. The maker reduced $10-20/ton on PP cargoes and $30/ton on LLDPE film.

Latest offers stand at $1030/ton for homo-PP yarn and injection, $1080/ton for PP block copolymers, $1180/ton for LLDPE film and $1140/ton for HDPE film, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A distributor said, “Market is psychologically affected by low priced cargoes from deep-seas origins. Many buyers are placing bids at drastic reduction. We are taking conservative stance for now.”
