Major Thailand hold firm stance for PE offers in China despite weak sentiment

A major producer from Thailand has announced new price for this week to China with an increased of $10/ton for HDPE film and yarn to reach $1185/ton and $1190/ton respectively, meanwhile stable offers for LLDPE film at $1280/ton, LDPE film at $1400/ton and LDPE heavy duty at $1430/ton as compared to last week, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term.

A trader informed,"Our supplier is still holding firm stance on their offers although sentiments in China has been largely impacted by the recent weak future market trend. We are still waiting for responses from our customers and we are not optimistic about our sales for this week as we heard there are sellers concluded Thailand HDPE film cargoes at the level $20/ton lower than our offers."
