Thailand's HMC to shut PP units for turnaround

Market sources reported that HMC Polymers Co Ltd is planning to shut their PP units by 5 November 2016 for a scheduled maintenance.

Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the company has a 150,000 ton/year No. 1 PP unit, 300,000 ton/year No. 2 PP unit and a 300,000 ton/year No. 3 PP unit. Each lines will be shut progressively for a week meanwhile the other lines will operate at normal rate.
