Shenhua informed that the morning auction results were intended for reference due to technical issues on the auction website, leading to the cancellation of the auction sales.

Shenhua informed that the morning auction results were intended for reference due to technical issues on the auction website, leading to the cancellation of the auction sales. However, market players note that buyers are still willing to make purchases, even though the auction is labelled as reference-only. The stability in auction prices for LLDPE and a $10/ton discount for Homo-PP compared to the previous day attract ongoing interest from buyers.

Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co is currently the largest coal-based polyolefins producer in China, operates under four subsidiaries, namely: Shenhua Xinjiang Coal-based New Materials Project, Shenhua Yulin Energy Co Ltd, Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co Ltd and Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group (Ningmei).
The company has an annual capacity of 2.65 million tons/year of PP, 750,000 tons/year of HDPE/LLDPE and 570,000 tons/year of LDPE.
