Shenhua has been rather mindful in setting prices for their coal-based cargoes, aiming to maintain an attractive price gap with the futures market to keep arbitrage traders active.

Shenhua quyết định điều chỉnh tăng giá homo-PP thêm NDT 50/tấn và LLDPE thêm NDT 120/tấn sau khi chốt được doanh số ổn định trong phiên làm việc trước đó. Tuy nhiên, sau mức tăng, số lượng giao dịch vẫn duy trì ổn định nhờ xu hướng trên sàn Đại Liên. Shenhua rất thận trọng về giá bán đối với nguồn hàng than đá, đặt mục tiêu duy trì chênh lệch giá hấp dẫn so với các thị trường tương lai nhằm duy trì hoạt động tích cực từ các kênh thương mại chênh lệch.

Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co is currently the largest coal-based polyolefins producer in China, operates under four subsidiaries, namely: Shenhua Xinjiang Coal-based New Materials Project, Shenhua Yulin Energy Co Ltd, Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co Ltd and Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group (Ningmei).
The company has an annual capacity of 2.65 million tons/year of PP, 750,000 tons/year of HDPE/LLDPE and 570,000 tons/year of LDPE.
