Sinopec Yanshan restarted PE units after brief shutdown

Market sources reported that Sinopec Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Co Ltd has managed to resumed the production of it’s PE units yesterday (28 July 2016) after a brief emergency shutdown

Based in Beijing, China, the company has a 200,000 ton/year LDPE (New) line, 60,000 ton/year No. 1 old LDPE line and 60,000 ton/year No. 3 old LDPE line. These units have been shut since yesterday due to insufficient upstream supplies as a result of technical issues on ethylene cracker.
