Spot PP and PE offers from a key Indonesian producer continue to track the softening trend this week as demand decline rapidly ahead of the Ramadan holiday.

The Indonesian market is officially off from 28 April to 8 May; however, converters have been gradually winding down operations since the previous week claiming the lack of end-product orders.

“It is very likely that the downtrend would persist until after Ramadan. Customers are not even inquiring for offers and the falling import market is not helping,” a trader said.
