Local producer lifted March PP, PE offers sharply in Malaysia
Malaysian buyers have received fresh PP and PE offers from a key local producer for March delivery with substantial increases from the previous month, following the latest development in the import ground.

Sources said that buyers have yet to show clear responses toward the latest offers. However, several traders expected some resistance toward PP parcels citing the presence of competitive Chinese cargoes in the import ground.
“But we think acceptance toward the PE cargoes might be better because of the limited supply from most international suppliers in recent weeks. In the meantime, we haven’t seen a strong demand ahead of the Ramadan season,” a local trader reported.
