Oil rose to seven-year highs on political risks
International benchmarks rose to the highest levels since October 2014 on Tuesday, 18 January 2022 on concerns over the political tensions in major oil-producing countries like Russia and UAE, that might further curtail supply.
Brent increased $1.03 or 1.2% to settle at $87.51/barrel.
WTI gained $1.61 or 1.9% to close at $85.43/barrel.
