Oil pared gains on Wednesday but remained in the positive territory
International benchmarks for crude oil concluded the trading day on Wednesday, 5 January 2021 with additional gains, although the heavy weight from the declining demand in the US and the potentially quicker interest rates hike narrow the extend of the increases.
Brent rose 80 cents to close at $80.80/barrel.
WTI settled 86 cents higher at $77.85/barrel.
