Unexpected shutdown at PetroChina Guangzhou's PP unit

PetroChina Guangzhou Petrochemical Company has emergency shut its PP1 (old) unit today due to unexpected technical issues.

Based in Guangzhou, China, the company PP1 (old) unit has a production capacity of 140,000 ton/year. The restart schedule could not be ascertained. Meanwhile, it’s 60,000 ton/year PP2 unit is still operating as usual, and another 200,000 ton/year new PP unit is pending for startup.
