It is reported that a major Taiwanese producer has sold out November shipment allocation for PVC to India after announcing new offers in the previous trading day with a $30/ton reduction from last month. 

Deals concluded at $870/ton CIF India, LC AS term.

As reported earlier, Indian customers have shown a high level of acceptance toward the latest offers and currently inquired for additional quantity. “We are waiting for the producer to feedback on the quantity. Demand is recovering and we expect the condition to continue improving after the Diwali holiday end of this month,” a trader commented. 

In the meantime, sources remain uncertain about the possible market trend in the coming month citing the volatile upstream costs and the uncertain trade deal between China and the USA.
