It is reported that a major Thailand producer has announced fresh PE offers to China with additional reduction following two price cuts in the previous week.

Chinese players commented that the price cut is very much in line with the expectation considering the depreciation of the Chinese Yuan against the US dollar while the domestic market is not improving.
Transactions are thin and buyers prefer to wait and see on the sideline with a source said, “The market sentiment is very dull. Overseas sellers might continue to offer more discount moving forward, therefore, we want to hold purchases for a while.”
