Tightening PP supply across the region is one of the factors supporting the hike, sources said, though price negotiations from customers are getting fierce, too. Meanwhile, comfortable supply in Indonesia local ground is not giving overseas sellers a conducive environment to lift PE prices despite the recent hike in the upstream ethylene costs.
