After a weeklong holiday, a major Indonesian producer resumes cutting local prices amid sluggish demand condition. The latest offers down $10-20/ton from last week, except for HDPE, which remains unchanged.

There are not much movement in the local ground on the first trading day of the week as buyers are studying the international market and assessing the near-term outlook before making decision.
“We started contacting some of our regular buyers but the response is rather limited. Market might need a couple of days to warm up, however, we are not very optimistic considering the development in the international ground,” a local trader said.
