According to market sources, Dongguan Grand Resource Science and Technology Co Ltd (JuZhengYuan) has started its trial run successfully yesterday, whereby they are expected to have around 10,000 tons of off-grade PP cargoes upon trial production.
Based in Dongguan, China, the new plant consists of 2 PP plants with combined production capacity of 600,000 tons/year. Market players informed that the plant is expected to start commercial run by July-August 2019. The plant is planning to produce homo-PP yarn (30%), injection (30%) and fiber (40%), while the main priority will be selling to downstream converters.
