A major Thailand producer has announced fresh weekly PE offers to China with $5-10/ton hike from the last week, sending the latest prices to $1195/ton for HDPE film, $1120/ton for LLDPE film, and $1090/ton for LDPE film, all based on CFR China, LC AS.

The producer’s price list is at the upper end of the overall price range and started attracting resistance. This does not seem to concern the producer too much with a source said, “We have sold a considerable quantity in the past week and current not having any sales pressure. We are waiting for customer feedback, though having no plan to make any price adjustment.” 

The agricultural film sector is entering the high demand season; therefore, the market has been seeing strong demand for LLDPE and LDPE film over the past week. And yet, only a few show the interest in the latest offers from Thai maker.
