Following a week of stabilizing, a major local producer in Indonesia decided to lift PP and PE offers to domestic buyers with strong support from the upstream costs and firming import ground.

Although the extent of the price hike is rather mild, players said this would help to sustain the firming trend that has been taking place in the distribution market over the past week.
“We are seeing healthier demand for LLDPE film from local buyers and higher price decision from the producer would fuel further hike in the coming days,” a source said.
