It is reported that a major Malaysian producer has announced fresh PP and PE offers to Indonesia for March shipment. The latest price list shows an unchanged level for all PP grades but PE is rather mixed.

The reduction in HDPE prices is understandable, sources said, considering the sharp plunge in Indonesia domestic market in recent months. Players said that the surge in ethylene costs has prevented a possible sharper reduction.
