A major Saudi Arabia producer has reportedly announced new PE offers for March shipment to Southeast Asian buyers with $10-20/ton hike from last month.

Customers have been informed that the supply for HDPE film is very tight and the producer encourages buyers to place bids as soon as possible to secure the quantity.
“The hike is a result of firming upstream ethylene costs. We plan to ask for $20/ton discount on deals,” a buyer commented.
