Indonesian buyers on the first trading day of the week received a new price list from a major local producer with addition IDR160,000/ton ($11/ton) reduction on HDPE film cargoes, while HDPE yarn hike moderately from last week.

Sources informed that availability for HDPE yarn in local ground is not very ample, which support the firmer prices. However, the HDPE film market might continue facing pressure in the coming days amid the comfortable supply condition.
Several local traders confirmed the softness in the HDPE film market while expressing a less optimistic expectation for the near term outlook.
