Malaysian producer slashes PP, PE offers to Indonesia

Up to three digits reduction from last month is the latest PP, PE price list from a major Malaysian producer to Indonesia for January loading. Indonesian buyers regarded the offers as ‘genuine’ year-end clearance sales.

Customers have expressed the intention to ask for additional discounts on deal and the idea is that small quantity at a time. “The energy complex continues fall and the exchange rate might fluctuate again. This is not a good sign and therefore, we plan to limit the purchased quantity,” a buyer commented.
