Another Saudi Arabia producer has announced fresh PE offers to Southeast Asia market with large reduction, especially for HDPE, following the general trend within the region.

The producer’s latest price list and month-on-month changes are shown in the following table:

Sources are planning to ask for $30-40/ton discount from the initial price list on deals though buyers do not seem so enthusiastic to purchase a larger quantity. “Supply is rather comfortable. The downward pressure is still strong and we do not have a strong risk appetite,” a regional buyer commented.
