According to market sources, Zhongtian Hechuang Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut one of its LDPE and PP plants today due to electricity supply issue as a result of boiler failure.
Based in Erdos, Inner Mongolia, China, the emergency breakdown of plants involved 350,000 tons/year PP (loop method) plant and 250,000 tons/year LDPE (tubular method) plant. Meanwhile, its another 350,000 tons/year PP (gas phase method) plant is operating as usual, while its 120,000 tons/year LDPE (kettle method) which has been shut since 4 November 2018 has successfully restarted by today.
