UPDATE: USA announced preliminary findings on ADD investigation on Vietnamese laminated woven sack



The USA Department of Commerce on 3 October 2018 announced the preliminary findings on the anti-dumping investigations on import laminated woven sack from Vietnam.

The findings suggested a dumping rate of 161.16% on five mandatory respondents in Vietnam while other entities face 292.61%. The US Customs and Border Protection would start collecting cash deposits from importers of laminated woven sacks from Vietnam based on these preliminary rates.

The DoC would make a final determination on whether imports of laminated woven sacks from Vietnam injure domestic industry on 18 December 2018. If the final determination is affirmative, an anti-dumping duties order will be issued. In contrary, if the final determination is negative, no anti-dumping duties order will be issued.
