Vietnamese buyers return from the long weekend holidays to received a downward adjustment in September shipment offers for both PP and PE. The latest price list is shown in the following table and changes are the differences from the initial price list.

“We have sold out all available quantity for LLDPE film Mi-2 grade. The adjustment is very much in-line with the market expectation and we hope to see better acceptance among buyers,” a distributor informed.

Vietnamese buyers are complaining about the short of supply for LLDPE film Mi 2 and several are planning to take in Mi 1 (with addictive) grade for replacement. “In the meantime, we are considering purchases for homo-PP cargoes, but watching out for China market to have a clearer view,” a buyer added.
