Chinese players reported receiving fresh PE offers from a major Qatari producer with $5/ton reduction for LDPE film from last week to $1175/ton, meanwhile LLDPE film offers rollover at $1145/ton, all on a CFR China, L/C 60 days basis.

A trader informed, “Our supplier tried to hold firm stance on their offers since last week, however facing difficulties to attract deals, especially LDPE film whereby resistances are significant at higher offer level, hence small discounts are offered this week. However, our supplier claimed to have limited inventory pressure hence not interested to offer larger discounts.”
