A major Indonesian producer announced fresh weekly PP and PE offers to local buyers with IDR 140,000ton ($10/ton) decreased on PP cargoes while other grades remain stable.  

The producer’s latest price list and changes are shown in the following table:

Recent depreciation of Indonesian Rupiah is pressuring the domestic market sentiment, as buyers are searching for imported materials that are having competitive offer level against domestic market. A PE converter informed, “Our end product customers are resisting on current price level hence we are still in consideration on raw material purchasing decision, as our end product demand did not see any sign of improvements, meanwhile supply for LLDPE and HDPE are still tight recently.”
