It is reported that a major Southeast Asian producer announced fresh metallocene (mPE) offers to China with $30/ton increased from last week, sending the latest prices list to $1390-1400/ton CFR China, LC AS term.

Market has not shown strong eager to make immediate purchases at the latest offers with buyers complaining about thin profit margin. “However, our principal supplier is not under any inventories pressure after healthy sales result in the previous month, and therefore, it is less likely that large discount would become available in the coming days,” a distributor said.
