It is reported that a major Singaporean producer has increased metallocene PE offers to Indonesia by $20-30/ton from last week, bringing latest price list to $1430-1440/ton CIF Indonesia, LC AS term.

The increase is very much anticipated as the producer has discussed the plan to lift offers since the beginning of the week. “We are still waiting for feedback from customers, however, with the current state of demand for PE cargoes, we hope to achieve at the new price without many hurdles,” a source close to the producer said. 

Buying interest for HDPE and LLDPE film in local Indonesia remains strong this week, market sources said.
