A major Thailand producer has announced weekly PE offers to China mostly at a stable to softer levels as the previous increases yielded disappointing sales results. The latest adjustment, however, remains unattractive to buyers, who are away for the ChinaPlas Exhibition. 

The producer’s price list is shown in the following table:

“Market is quiet and we expect this condition to persist throughout this week. Buyers have already replenished comfortable inventory and at the moment very reluctant to enter new deals at higher prices given the uncertain market trend in May,” a distributor said during a meeting in ChinaPlas.
