Market sources reported that Chevron Phillips has successfully startup production at its new ethane cracker since 12 March 2018.

Based in Cedar Bayou, Texas, United States, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 1.5 million tons. This startup has completed the final phase of the company's $6 billion U.S. Gulf Coast petrochemicals project that was announced in 2011.
