Market sources reported that PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is planning to shut its No. 1 cracker for a planned maintenance by early September 2018.
Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the cracker is able to produce 460,000 tons/year of ethylene and 125,000 tons/year of propylene. The turnaround is expected to remain in place for about 40 days.
