It is reported that Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group (Ningmei) has experienced unexpected glitches at its new coal-based PE plant (Phase II) this morning due to leakage of ethylene pipeline which caused fire.
Based in Ningxia, China, the plant has a production capacity of 450,000 tons/year. The restart schedule could not be ascertained. As reported earlier, the plant has unexpectedly shut due to granulator issue since 22 February and resumed with low production rate beginning of the week.
