It is reported that Japan Polypropylene Corporation (JPP) has restarted its PP units on 24 January 2018 after encountered a major mechanical issues that forced the company to declare force majeure on 2 October 2017. The restart comes earlier than initial expectation of six (6) months remain offline.
Based in Kashima prefecture, the unit is capable of producing 300,000 tons/year of PP.
