According to market sources, Asahimas Chemical has shut its No. 2 VCM unit for turnaround and debottlenecking activities since 15 January 2018.
Based in Anyer, Indonesia, the No. 2 VCM plant has a production capacity of 250,000 tons/year and upon expansion, the capacity will be lifted to 350,000 tons/year. The plant is expected to remain off-stream for about 7 weeks.
