A major Indonesia producer has announced fresh PP and PE offers to local buyers on the first trading day of the year with increases on PP cargoes while maintaining PE prices unchanged from the last announcement.

The producer’s latest price list and changes are shown in the following table:

Sentiment in Indonesia remains weak as many players are still away from their desks. The increases in homo-PP prices, especially yarn grade might not attract much buying attention, player said, given the fact that distribution market has been offering discounts since before the holidays. More movement might emerge toward the end of the week.
