According to market sources, Yunnan Yuntianhua Co Ltd has finally started up its new PP plant since 26 November 2017 after several delays since end of August.

Based in Yunnan, China, the new PP plant has a production capacity of 150,000 tons/year and the company will be sourcing propylene from spot market. As contacted by CommoPlast, a source closed to the company informed that most probably they will need about 2-3 months time in order to stabilize the production and hence the impact toward supply situation in the market will be more significant by Q1-Q2 next year.
