Buyers from Malaysia reportedly received significant reduction of PVC offers for December shipment from major Southeast Asian makers with decrease of $50/ton from last month, reaching $830/ton, CIF Malaysia, LC AS term for both Indonesian and Thailand origins.

A buyer commented, “We are planning to purchase some cargoes recently as prices have reduced quite a lot, meanwhile we have been keeping low inventory on hand for these two months. However, we feel uncertain on the outlook for upcoming months as China market is entering traditional slow season during winter time, meanwhile recent weak futures market are pressuring domestic trend as well.”
