Market sources reported that Shaanxi Yanchang Zhongmei Yulin Energy and Chemical Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut its coal-based HDPE/LLDPE unit since 18 October 2017 due to technical glitches.
Based in Shaanxi, China, the plant has a production capacity of 300,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 7-10 days.
