A Thailand producer has announced new offers for HDPE film and homo-PP yarn to Vietnam at very firm level, claiming limited supply. The maker lifted homo-PP yarn by $20/ton week on week, reaching $1250/ton while HDPE film stands at $1300/ton, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.
Initial respond from the market is rather disappointed and a source close to the producer informed, “We would proceed by collecting bids for homo-PP cargoes, while HDPE film parcels are only offered to specific converter.” The source added that supply for other HDPE grades are not available at the moment due to unstable production condition.
