A major Indian producer has announced new price for their homo-PP raffia cargoes to China today at the level of $950/t, CFR China L/C 30 days basis, for May shipment, which is $125/t higher than previous official offers last month. 

A trader based in Ningo said, “Our supplier has very limited allocation this time due to healthy demand in local India market. However, we feel that buyers in China is still showing strong resistance toward the high price level and the overall demand for PP market is still weak, hence we are not having much confidence in the near term outlook.”
