Chinese players informed that one of the major Indian producers have sold out their HDPE yarn allocation since beginning of the week, at the level of $1150-1165/ton, LC at sight term.

A trader commented, “Most of the sellers managed to conclude deals with $15/ton higher than initial price list offers from Indian supplier and lots of the offers are being offered with further $15/ton hike today, reaching $1180/ton level. With the continuous limited supply in the market, we believed that the recent firm trend could be able to sustain until next month.”
