According to market sources, Petrochemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is planning to shut its HIPS plant for a scheduled turnaround in October 2017.
Based in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia, the plant has a production capacity of 120,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off stream for about 6 weeks.
