A major Saudi Arabia producer has announced fresh weekly homo-PP prices to Vietnam with $10/ton lower than initial offers given in the previous week, at $1070/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term. However, this round, the maker only agree to $10/ton discount to conclude at $1060/ton – unchanged from last dealt levels.

Many Vietnamese buyers, especially local traders did not proceed with the purchases despite the lack of Middle Eastern cargoes in recent weeks. A buyer commented, “We have already purchased at this price and prefer to wait. Local market is going down, hence it might be better to be cautious.”
